We have been working hard to create a Covid safe space to resume worship in our churches and are delighted to announce the following services
11am Communion at Gt Waltham Church with Bishop John
If you want to come to the service then you will need to book with Sheila Bearman by phone or text on 07977077945 with your name, how many in your group or bubble. Please provide a contact phone number. Numbers are limited
Sunday 16th August – Chignal Smealey, 10.30 – Outdoor Communion
Sunday 23 August – Ford End, 10.30 – Communion
Sunday 30th August – Chignal Smealey, 10.30 – Outdoor Communion
We are following COVID-19 guidelines from the Government and Diocese. The wearing of Face Masks in church is now recommended but not mandatory. Service books have been quarantined, seating is set at social distancing of 2 metres, hand sanitiser is available, etc.
Please be guided on entrance and exit arrangements Great Waltham is using the porch door to enter and tower door for exit

Opening Times for Personal Prayer
4 of our 6 churches are now able to open for personal prayers. Our primary concern has always been your safety during these difficult times. Please respect the guidelines in place during the following opening hours:
St Mary & St Lawrence Gt Waltham on Sundays 11.30am-1pm
St John the Evangelist Ford End 2-5pm on Sundays and 10-midday on Thursdays
St Nicholas Chignal Smealey 10-6pm on Sundays from 28th June
St John the Evangelist Lt Leighs 8-2pm on Saturdays and 2-8pm on Tuesdays
